Configure 2 Factor Authentication

  1. From your Nextcloud Dashboard click on your user icon in the upper-right corner and select Settings from the dropdown.

  2. From the menu on the left, click on Security and check the box to Enable TOTP.

  3. Enter your Nextcloud password to authenticate, and proceed to your TOTP key/QR code

  4. Scan the QR code presented with your authenticator app. (Authy, Google Authenticator, Duo, etc) Then enter the code from your Authenticator app to verify.

  5. TOTP setup is complete!
