What websites are available to me?
The GRIT Pages domain is set to pages.grit.ucsb.edu
For the examples on this page, replace my_netid with your netid (or GRIT login, if it differs from your netid)
and replace my_repo with the name of your git repository
Project Pages
Gitlab provides per project websites. If you configure Pages for a repository, it will be served as:
https://my_netid.pages.grit.ucsb.edu/my_repo
Root page
You can have one page that will be served at the root of your domain:
https://my_netid.pages.grit.ucsb.edu
To create this page, you should name the repository my_netid.pages.grit.ucsb.edu
Your existing home directory page will get forwarded to your new Gitlab root page.
For example: https://people.geog.ucsb.edu/~my_netid/ -> https://my_netid.pages.grit.ucsb.edu
Custom DNS
Gitlab allows you to set custom DNS for any repository. To do this, follow the instructions given in the Gitlab documentation: https://docs.gitlab.com/user/project/pages/
