What To Include In A Ticket
Submitting a ticket
The following should always be included in every ticket:
1) the IP address or hostname or URL of the server(s) involved
2) a screenshot of the issue or a copy and paste of the errors received
3) your IP address (available via wmip.grit.ucsb.edu)
Ticket Follow Ups:
Tickets may not be resolved on the first response, in this case please include the following details in your replies:
1) Any screenshots or copy and pasted text of changes to errors (if there is no change then please explicitly state so if you do not include a screentshot or text of the error)
2) Any changes in the environment should be noted (ie if you tried from a different computer, tried a different server, or if your network connection has changed)
